Very practical idea Scotch.  What if there is a 3 way?  Sometimes guys like to jump in (after asking) a duel so maybe it can be

.duel gameid gameid gameid.......and so on so it can sort of be a little private club lets say.  to get out of it simpley        .unduel all

Of course I don't know the inner workings of the "COAD". But I would think there'd be a way to include multiple people. And with something like this you're not relying on a moderator with set hours. You're not giving whiners any chance of complaints of bias moderating, etc. Pretty straightforward.

What this really boils down to is a lack of respect for other people.

I have been playing for about 4 or 5 years now, and I have found you reap what you sow, if you treat others with respect and courtesy, you tend to get it back.

Why is it so difficult to respect a "duel" in the "dueling" arena?

Sounds like Dedalos has a legitimate beef, and was describing a general problem he has observed in the dueling arena.

As far as Twinboom is concerned he chose to flatter himself by assuming Dedalos was refering to a specific incident where he was involved.

All Twinboom has proven is that he is good at finding pictures/clips of babies and boys crying, and doing the cut and paste thing on the BBS.

Give a little respect and you will get it back by the bucket loads.

I don't think it's a clean split; It's more like a broken windshield, with cracks going every which way. It reflects' on the BBS, on Ch. 200, in the way people respect each other in the arena's.

I'm waiting for HiTech to figure out a way to spank the children.

What comunity? It is a bunch of guys playing a game.  Some think its real and act as if they are in the airforce, some just play to waste time, some go out of their way to be arses.  The all have one thing in common.  Credit cards.  As long as those creditcards are good no one is going to get spanked.  Some may get banned from the BBS for personal reasons but there isn't going to be an mass "spanking" of anyone.  HT likes to eat.

You don't need a credit card to post on the BBS, however. As to the game, that's different.
