Slang Terms
« on: January 30, 2008, 11:25:10 AM »
Still posting as the "FNG"..  :)

People use a fair amount of slang terms on the radio, and I don't know what most of them mean.  I'm an old veteran of Red Baron 3D, so I know basic radio lingo like "RTB, OMW," and so on.

But there seems to be some game-specific lingo in A.H.2 that I'm not picking up.  And the real hell of it is that I can't think of any of those terms now that I'm posting the question.

Can someone just throw out the half-dozen or so terms that get used a lot, that a new guy may not know?

On a side note, I would like to add that so far I've been very impressed with the helpfulness and overall patience of most players, both online and on the forums.  I don't know if it's a product of the A.H.2 staff, or just the clientel that this game attracts.  But everyone so far has been very approachable and seems willing to take a minute or two to help the new guy.

(Thanks for the bombing tips the other night, Rolex)

look under game info and click on "need training" on the trainer page there is a section called "game culture" you will have to scroll down the menu on left to find it. Click on "radio abbreviations".

This is a list of abbreviations used in AH2

Loved this

pork - make base un-usable by destroying hangars, fuel, etc
porker - someone who porks a base for no reason.

What do u call someone who does it for a reason?
