<S> Rooks for an outstanding TT evening.

to the rook nation yesterday for an outstanding bomber raid that i hosted yesterday, i have the film:

http://www.mediafire.com/?fg4jm9wxeuf

I know it's long, but i'm kinda a green thump atm for film editing and hosting, you can fast forward too the different parts/redez points/ bomb drops/formations/etc.

Also to the 4th FG group, they are old Warbird pilots and as you can see in the film, they know there stuff :aok ! All bombers returned to base safely, all together was just over 30+ aircraft in that mission.  14 bomber formations and 17+ escort fighters.

If you watch the film, mind commenting on my CO'ing of the mission :D ? I like positive feedback for future bomber raids.  I had the escort fighters roll from different fields, that's why you don't see them on the bomber take off field.

Was thinking about doing one today, but you know the Ki67s are super fast once leveled, don't think the Escorts could maintan icon range.

if you do a KI67s raid, use the KI84s as escorts. they should keep up. :aok

The KI-84s and Nikis could. Th trick is to raid at 14,000' or lower. Even better both have long range and drop tanks. Not that it will take very long to climb to 14,000'.

Ki-84's top speed is at 18k I believe, so they could have a little alt on the bombers for proper historic style cover.
