According to the trainers page it's 8K for a "primary ship" 2K for all others.

I will assume the CV is a primary ship.  Don't know about the cruiser..

I have watched as some guy drops on a cv then gets another plane, drops again and again 2000lbs. at a time, not realizing it is repairing itself the whole time he is gone!

if you know anything about the Russian T34 you will know the Russians put its armour at a slope (so the rounds would deflect off it more).

If YOU know anything about the T-34 you would realize that sloped
armor doesn't deflect every round, nor does the extra armor thickness
keep an 88 from penetrating.  Since you weren't there, I will enlighten
you about the situation.

     I had 92 88mm AP rounds, I missed maybe 12 times.  I saw about
50 large sprites and approximately 30 rounds bounce..mostly off the
mantlet as I was trying to walk the hits between the hull and the turret.

When even the target vehicle driver notices something wrong, it might
behoove you to pay closer attention before spouting off, citing your vast
expertise acquired by watching the History Channel about our lack of
knowledge.
