Thanks guys. As you can see from my Avatar text, I've been around for a little while, and I've certainly been in the DA more times than I care to think about. Most recently, I was there last Wednesday, and again two days later, and every plane feeling like I was flying on Friday seemed like it really was "underwater" or something. Wednesday felt perfectly normal.

Next time I feel like something like oddis going on, I'll reboot. Thanks for the suggestion.

Check the field altitude where you are fighting- I thought that for a long time when I used to go into the DA occasionally, until I noticed after one particularly horrendous engagement (P-40E vs Bf-109G) that the field alt was 10K. So we were starting the fight at 10K, and since we were both fighting close and dirty right above the ground, the alt never occured to us. We never noticed the ground was almost 2 miles up.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

yea treize is right its the alt that makes it seem different. most of all your fights in the MA happen right on the deck. so when you go to the high alt fighting thats like 20k and your plane will ack/fly differently at higher alts. just try it you may notice a difference.

Fights on both days were both at med alt fields, so while both were a mile high, there were both at the same alt.

That said, I can see how the high ground can play tricks with the mind. I guess it could have had something to do with it too. Good idea.
