Bombs framing the crematorium at Birkenau. They were actually being dropped on a synthetic rubber plant 3 miles away. This image was captured as they left the aircraft for their intended target downrange.

I was merely talking about the curvature (Left and Right) of it. If it is a giant ring, then you would not want to curve it at all. You'd want to make a cylinder out of it.
