Brand Spankin' New Jug...

Awaiting some skin ideas. It's a D-25 but can be easily converted to a D-40. So, if you have any pics of a bubble top Jug you'd like to see done, lemme know.

Never noticed on your earliers P-47 skins, but there shouldn't be any shading along the leading edge of the flap.  The flaps fit flush against the upper wing skin, and thus, should merely have a line showing the transition.  Also, I can't tell from the resolution, but you shouldn't have a trim tab on the right aileron if you do.  The P-47 only had an adjustable trim tab on the left aileron.

I'll go with either TB's or Wrongway's recommendation for the skin.  PTO Jugs are too scarce.

PTO ANYTHING is too scarce.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

DOH!!! I'll get to fixin' that ASAP & yes, I did have the shading on the flaps on all my skins. No biggie though, just a little work with the good ol' eraser tool. We'll see what I can whip up in the next week or so.

EDIT: After looking at my other skins, the shading isn't as broad as on this one. I redid all the shading/panel lines/rivets etc. on this one as I wasn't really to thrilled with the way I constructed the other skins. So, hopefully with time, my skins will get better.

Some progress...

Still need to weather it & what not, stupid anti-glare panel is giving me fits (fixed the saw tooth look but now it's skinnier on one side  )
