Really?

So how is the ability to CHOOSE to have an abortion the same as being REQUIRED by law to wear a seat belt?
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

exactly wrag.    I harm no one by not wearing a helmet or a seatbelt except to maybe cut into the insurance companies profit a bit.

I am even willing to not do so..  you know that when you get life insurance.. they ask if you smoke.   you pay more if you do.

I am willing to pay more (based on real numbers) for the freedom to choose to wear a seatbelt or not or a helmet or not.

I am willing to pay more for health or life insurance for the right to eat whatever I want.

the insurance company doesn't want that tho..  Better a blanket ban on anything that hurts profits.

In that you should have the ability to choose to wear a seatbelt or not without government interference.

Ahhh I think I mis-understood your original statement, my bad!

seriously folks.. who do you think is more likely to pass fatty or weight control or food bans..  democrats or republicans?

More importantly.. who is more likely to uphold such drivel...  democrat appointed judges or republican appointed ones?

sandie.. I can see why you don't want to answer that question.. of course it is democrats who pass sin taxes..

not that they are against sin so much.. but because they are so in love with taxes.   the democrat tax strategy is to demonize a group.. say smokers...or fatso's or gun owners..

Then.. make everyone else agree that the reason we are all broke is because those sinners don't pay enough taxes.

In the end.. so far as democrats are concerned.. we are all sinners.. they will get around to you if they haven't already.

Just pick what you believe to be the superior race.
Groom them from an early age with an overpowering government...and terror.
Take away individualism, then conquer the world.

Let`s see.......................... Hasn`t that been tried?
Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.

That's so chillingly true...
