MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2.

It's used though.  Purchased back in '02.

I heard this is the most sought after joystick after CH products.

Is it USB or gameport?  Just curious.  I've got a MS Sidewinder 3D Pro I've been using for over 11 1/2 years now but it's a gameport (non-FF).  It still works fine but I've actually been considering updating my machine, and IF I do I won't have a gameport anymore.

I don't understand why MS quit making the best joysticks on the market.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Good question.  It is the only Microsoft thing I have never had a problem with and worked correctly the first time out of the box.

Don't do it. They make excellent backup sticks.

That joystick is bullet proof.

Just put a sound card in your new setup with the controller plug.

Even most motherboards with onboard sound still have a midi plug/gameport for joysticks etc BaldEagl.

Xp should autodetect a sidewinder with no problem.
Just go into control panel, gameing devices, add joystick, select sidewinder.

It should pick it right up with no problems.

XP even picked up a CH Flight Yoke 6 buttons, 2  4 way hats and throttle that the wife found at the second hand store for a whole 3 $.

Anyone want a yoke?

Yoke?  Wife might kill me... would it be worth it?
