No matter what settings I use in AH. Unless I am right over the top of a GV (within 1.5) I can't see him.

For example, fly over a GV and I can view him, once out of 1.5 range the icon dissapears and so does the GV and the terrain

However, when in a GV I can see GV's at any distance. When in tower and in F5/F8 view I can see GV's and terrain until I start viewing from height.

Any ideas please

Terrain distance slider is set at Maximum and you've hit shift F1 for full Vis?

1.5k Is about the distance you would lose the red icon but for him to disappear totally, is odd.

When messing with the sliders make sure you hit ok to apply the settings.

I have found F4 (ground vis) is a little better for seeing GV's on the ground..
