Do fluxtuations mean a bad stick?  What else would cause X, Y, & Z rotation #'s to dance a bit all over?

Is this a brand-new controller (Joystick) ?

If it isn't new, then maybe you've got dirty pots, or worn out pots.

What controller do you have?

Analog inputs will dance a little. Digital inputs not near as much but even they can change some.

you may need a powered hub to plug it into if its USB. If you have a number of things plugged into USB ports your pulling power from your powersupply for all of them. Get a powered USB hub, and plug a few of them into the, spread the load. All of my CH gear is in a powered HUB and its stays nice and steady.

I have a hub that has a power supply with it.  Will try it.

Thanks!
