perk points
« on: April 06, 2008, 09:25:22 PM »
everyone knows that getting discoed is a pain in the  $*&#&$% @$%# *&#%$ *& &%$#@$% %# *# &$^%#$

the other day i was landing a 262 with several kills and just as my wheels touched down BOOM..... i discoed, i lost over 200 perks for it.

well....

how about if you are in any type of perked machine and you disco you shouldnt lose the points
if you have kills and you disco oh well... but still you shouldnt lose the points for discoing

does anyone agree with me ?

Isn't there some way to differentiate between a genuine disco and an <Alt><F4>?

Yea, but I'm not sure the server can tell the difference between an INTERNET problem or an ALT-F4 problem.

Just for the record, a alt-F4 does NOT give you a DISCO - It is shutting down the game and recorded as a death. (If you look very carefully while alt-f4 and in a gv/plane, you can even see "you have crashed" text for a brief moment.

But of course there are other ways to deliberate disco, so there you won't see your wish fulfilled.
