It was Aces Low, when you consider the tendency for everyone in the MA to furball under 5 or 10K. This should force the fight higher. And put a damper on vulching too, that's for sure.

Btw...Someone call on Moil...If he hasn't posted yet, he might be lying on the floor next to his comp. desk in shock!!!!:lol

I never was a big advocate of the WW, but it's cool that we are getting it.

I'd be very doubtful if it had 2.2k ranges. I wouldn't get your hopes up THAT high.

Also, that's a good point about the ammo drums. It'd be sweet to have to TIME your attacks (and not waste rounds in between bursts) for when a target is dead to rights.

Without ammo reload delays (short ones) I can imagine this might get a perk. Spitting out a solid wall of 3200 20mm shells without pause isn't very balanced.

With a short pause built in (can HTC even do that??) it would add a bit of balance. 2 working in tandem could cover each other during reloads, etc.

Yeah, I know, not going to happen, but it would have added a bit of depth to their use.

Depending on firing mode, you had no delays but could soill out continous fire in a Wirbelwind.

The gunner had two options: Either firing all 4 guns at a time for higher rate of fire, or shooting with two barrels at a time while the two reloaders reloading the other ones.

BTW, it didn't use ammo drums.

Well... Those two modes of fire can serve very well in different situations.  If HTC is reading this, please consider allowing these two, somehow :)

The Wirble MUST be perked..

considering the way it WILL be used, people are going to be using it like a tank, to kill other tanks, and take down town and such..   im guessing it could kill or damage any tank aside from maybe the tiger in pretty short order..

Very nice. Is the wirbelwind going to be a small perk item? it was not produced in mass numbers.

It's got enough firepower to track a tiger easily, I bet.

there is enough fishy gamey crap going on with the GV aspect of this game already, without people rolling around in armored blenders that can kill anything on the land or in the air if it gets within 2.0K

That's about 265 rounds per 10 second burst.  Easy 12 kills before having to reload. :) :) :)
