They are still out there, just harder to find with more people on and bigger maps. Off peek it's much easier as you have a regular bunch of above average players online flying between a few bases.

the only ones i find are the ones of me and some other vets that goto the da and fool around.

Just how far back down memory lane do you want to go? Yes prior to AW break up when there was only about 200 regular players at peek time everyone pretty much knew everyone else and the squads so it was a little more civil.  As the numbers grew it's expected that your going to lose that aspect of the game a little but I wouldn't say all the class has left. Still plenty out there, but again just harder to find amongst the increase in numbers.

partly true there is class out there, damned shamed they dont show it anymore.

There is still plenty of fun to be had on the edges, just as it was during the old days.

never said i didnt have fun with the game anymore. i still have plenty of fun. i had lots of fun killing your goup one by one when your group was vulching me. still amazes me 5-7 vs 1 and yall attempting to vulch and i still get hoed hmmmmmmmm.

It would be really interesting to get your perspective Dale, on what it was like...

For example: What was the staff's reaction when you got the first beta version up and running and  the celebrations when you got your first subscriber...

Your reality was different than ours I'm sure, but I would be interested to know what went on "behind the scenes" during the development of the original Aces High. What was your motovation for creating this wonderful entity, and how did you get it done?

All this aside, Thanks for the opportunity to experience virtual WW2 Air combat. In my humble opinion that this is the most compelling flight sim game available, on or off line, and a bargain for the entertainment value! You'll have my $15.00 a month until my wife prys my credit card from my cold dead fingers!

Kilz,

So your comparing AH1 to AH2, as you feel you were constantly vulched and picked on by a group of seven? Well that's been going on since Beta. Hence most quickly learn to take off from a safer field further out and come back into the fight with the advantage.

There is smack talk or light hearted banter that's ok and to be expected to a respectful level. But then there is flat out insults and offensive behavior. Hence open ch was removed.
