well now i am reallly naffed off
got a brand new harddrive and graphics card,did a complete fresh install of windows xp home.

down loaded Aces high instaled it

I still get no game every time i try to start it it comes up a error and must close.
now this is getting a joke and pretty soon it will be getting a big hammer.

the game should install easy on a fresh clean windows  install!!!!!!

Did you install the native sound, video card, and motherboard drivers?

yes i did install the native drivers that came with the mother board,and the drivers that came with the new card.

no matter what i do or try i cannot now get aces high to work at all.

i updated all the drivers i could and i got nothing.

i stoped using the hmdi connection and gone back to the vga one which used to work perfectly for aces high but i still get nothing but a black screen and a error .

poxy stupid computers the thing was working fine now its a pile of crap

ok now this is gettting crazy.
i took out the new card and put the old one back in and now it works fine!!!!!.
This  thing has been driving me nuts for weeks:O

Are you sure you gutted the old drivers before pulling the original card out?

It is also possible the new card is overloading the power supply when it tries to kick into 3D mode.

i removed everything from the ati  softwear and the drivers before i put the new card in.

also the power supply is above the minimum needed for the new card.

just funny that a clean instal did not work with eiter card but now another clean install with the old cad does?

I dont  know how you can do this job you do skuzzy with computers even with getttting paid for it id have gone mad by now.

i might be tempted on my next holiday time off to try installing the new card but as its now working ill keep it as it is for now.
