During the later part of the war, the Lancaster was outfitted with 4 - 50cals in the tail-gunner position. It was also able to carry a 22k (I think) pound bomb called The "Daisy Cutter". Can we get the Lancs updated or at least the version of this bomber in AHII?

Most likely not. Also HTC stated that there will be no bombs bigger than 4000Ibs. So your mega bomb would never be added. We can't even get a grand slam.

HT said no bomb bigger then the 4k cookie in the lanc. It was updated a few years ago and used to carry quad .303s.

Negative. The Lancaster in AH has never been changed in any way. It had two .50 cals in the tail from day one.

I have never heard of a Lanc with a quad .50 turret. My guess is the OP saw the more standard quad .303 turret and thought it was a quad .50 turret.

OP, the 22,000lb bomb was called "Grandslam" and could only be carried by modified Lancs.

The largest bomb carried by unmodified Lancs was a 12,000lb high capacity bomb, basically three 'cookies' bolted together. THe 4,000lb 'cookie' we have in AH is the largest bomb HTC is going to do, so says Pyro.

Nope. I remember the debates about that when it was first added as the .50 cal armed Lancs were distinctly in the minority. HTC said at the time they did the .50 cal tail to give it some survivability in the game.

There was some glitch in the hangar that said "4x .50cals" without actually having them in the tail turret.
