Exectutive Officer of the 125th Spartans, SWthug. Andy (Thug) joined this squad while he was still deployed in Iraq, became our XO while still in the desert. Would log on using a laptop, with a frame rate of 2 or 3. Although he wasn't able to play the game very well he'd still log on just to say "Hey There", and to get in touch with the real world. I remember one time he logged on, and even though he couldn't play, recruited 4 people in a matter of one hour (lol).....some of which are still members.
Andy deploys sometime between June 15th and 18th to Afgan, his 4th deployment. Knowing very well he had to have volunteered for the 4th tour I asked him "Why". He explained to me his concern about the men he leads, and to break up the team could not only be counter productive, but deadly too............then he went on to say "Plus......it's my job".
Isn't it ironic that this post lands on Memorial Day Weekend. To Andy (SWthug), his team, and every man & woman that proudly wears the uniform which represents the United States of America, my family and I thank you for your efforts, your pain, your suffering. You have our unconditional support, and we pray and hope for safe returns (especially our XO).
<SALUTE>
