Kawasaki K100 please!

All I want for Christmas is a Kawasaki K-100!  This was one of the last fighter planes the Japanese developed before the end of the war, and was basically a re engined Tony.  While opinions on the performance of this plane seemed divided it is generally agreed that it was an excellent performing fighter.  There are a number of well documented combats in which the K-100  outperformed Hellcats, Corsairs, and Mustangs.  

It would be a lot of fun and add to the main arena game.

I thought the Ki100 was basically the same (performance wise) as the Ki61 it was based off of, just with a different engine?

Yup. The reason is was so liked was that it was reliable when things like the Ki-84, Ki-61-II and N1Ks were horribly unreliable.  Its performance was nothing great.

I enjoy the Ki-61.   Just change the current flight model.   It could turn with FM2's in WWII.

I would rather see a Ki-45 Nick. I think it would be used quite a lot as both hvy fighter and ground attack roles. I think it would be similar to a 110 in it's use. It does have a few variants with different gun packages. 2-20mm and 1- 37mm in the nose probably would be the best.

Ki-100 would be great fun .....but we wont ever get any new japanese planes ...because everytime someone suggests one ....the BBS bully's login and tell us:  "It won't revolutionise the MA, so therefore we dont need it"   ....nevermind that it actually fought in the war
 

...so dont get your hopes up ....I've been waiting for a new japanese plane for years ....any japanese plane ...
