Medals and Ranks

I don't know if anybody thought about. How will the game with medals and ranks for points? My idea is, that  players will have access to lead formations, get perked planes available easier and so on with higher ranks. Medals will be earned with more points. I think this give the game something to fight for everybody see, right?

I think medals for amazing feats are great, but do not base them on score or attach special priveleges to them.  Otherwise it ends up being another score mongers toy.

thats way we have squads if you want medals.

And more points when you kill a higher rank, less when its a lower etc.

     Would make life tough on the beginners if all the "vets" had easier access to
perkie birds and formations, don't you think?

Theres a fine line between punishing good pilots and hampering the weaks chances.

My idea is simply to fight for something and everybody can see. If the points can be used to access something it will be a nice feature in the now simple p-v-p game.
