rough landing anyone?

I've had many a harrowing landings where I landed okay in the end, but everything up to and including touchdown was scary. Like missing a wing and missing control surfaces, making it harder, or missing flaps and a wingtip, and so on.

Landing a P-40E with 1 flap almost full down, the other almost half down, and both jammed in place, THAT was interesting. Not so hard, but definitely interesting.

Once I was in a spit8 and with some squaddies. We were 10k and bounce some bombers. I take an instant pilot wound and remember there's a CV less then a sector away! I black out repeatedly, even on final, hear a lot of noise, come out of blackout sitting on deck, gear and many other parts gone, but alive! I somehow slid over towards the tower and it stopped me.
