Not sure if this is the right place for this thread or not but anyways...
I've been working on my aiming for a bit now and I checked the score board and my Kills Hit Percentage comes up as 10.50. I don't really understand Kills Hit Percentage so I wanted to know if anyways could explain it a bit and if 10.50 is good or not.

Thanks in advance.

No it's not, it's above average. Last time I really checked 6-8 % was average.

6-8% is above average, and 10+ is way above it.
Arithmetic mean is ~ 3.5%

But take some care when comparing individual stats:

For example, hitting town buildings while being in fighter mode lowers your hit% - all bullets are counted as "missed".
Hunting primarily buffs (as I do) can boost your hit% considerably.
When I BnZ or E fight in cannon planes like Tempest or Ta152 my hit% goes down, because I take much more long range shots at unfavorable angles, knowing that a single hit might be sufficient. In furball planes like 109F or Hurr I my hit% goes up again, because I get very close & personal before shooting.

I did gather the data myself. I went into the LW arena with most players on and took screenshots of the pilot's roster to get the names. After the end of that tour I looked up their stats .

Well in that case I'm mostly fighter vs. fighter and occasionally buffs. My main ride is the Zero so thats a combo. of Cannon and MG. I don't usually strafe buildings, field-ack sometimes at best.

AirFlyer, that's a VERY good hit percentage. Not at all average.
Nicely done, that work is paying dividends for you, glad to see that.

In Airflyer's orginal post it does not say whether it is in Attack mode or not. The average kills hit percentage is different for attack and fighter mode (isn't it).

He probably did mean fighter though (if he did I am jealous). Mine has been ranging in the 5-5.5 range. But my attack is approximatley 63%.Just saying that there is a difference.

Again because of the major spread between what he has and what I have for attack it probaly is fighter but I just wanted to make sure just in case anybody was confused.

I did mean fighter, sorry about that. I don't usually fly attack so I forget it's an option. :o
