Well, I gotta say, the night ended differently that I thought it would. I went only to observe and ended up volunteering and selected to be a Republican Delegate for my precinct and will go to the County Republican convention at the end of March.
Sorry Jackal, no fist fights... it took about an hour and a half to vote on our resolutions for the county convention. We started at 730 and finished about 900. But when we finished our Republican caucus/primary the Democrats were still standing in line to pick their delegates...
As I left I asked them if they were still waiting on picking delegates, a couple said yea, I said "You guys should have been Republicans, you'd be done and goin home now..."
some of them were clearly not amused... them dang democrats,... no sense of humor... must have been at least 75 of them still waiting in line....
