sorry, It looks like they enabled attaching images just for HTC staff (ie: Waffle's thread)
realistically imagine 2 million + posts, how many would add a free image if they could?
even if most images were 500K and only 1/4 of the posts had one image attached thats 625,000 images, thats 291GB of images they'd have to store alone. stored in a database, thats getting a bit big, and load time would be insanely slow for threads.
