Politics today are about as bad as a pop culture papparrazzi Britney Spears drama smear campaign.

Maybe it's always been that bad.

Politicians will never matter, never have mattered, and will never be about what there supposed to be about. You can't please that many people and remain true to yourself and try to have good intentions. If you tried to remain true and actually help people you either wouldn't win, you'd be labeled as another Jimmy Carter weakling by republicans. Or you'll get shot.

I may be going out on a limb, but I believe our government uses certain aspects of many kinds of government. Is it bad? No, I don't think so. A lot of these types of government/ideologies worked. Now I know you guys may retort by saying, "Well if they worked, then why aren't they around?" Great question, it's all relative. Certain government/ideaologies worked at certain periods in different places around the world.

1. He was in the Hanoi Hilton suffering while our current "Strong wartime president" was flying barstools in the national guard.

2. I've seen McCain take stances that were not typically seen as "Republican" just on the stance that he seemed to feel it was right.

3. Bush started a war not knowing where it was going, what was happening while it was happening, a motive that was mistaken, reasons that are constantly changing, deadlines that are constantly changing, lack of proper planning, and equipment before they got there.

McCain has seen all this. And i do not believe wants to stay in Iraq very much longer. Only untill it can be stabilized. If we left now before covering up the wound, it would disgrace the memory of all the people that never should have been sent or died under those circumstances in the first place. It has been done already and McCain wants to repair as much as he can not just stay indefinately OR leave abruptly.

4. Reality, McCain really is about, all the things Bush claims he is and never has been. If thats what Bush WANTS to be.

Yes, and that is why I predict Obama has it all sewn up at this time .. the only way billary will get it is when bama man has an bobby kennedy style "accident" which is blamed on the right by the dumarsecrats and their buds in the media

McCain is about the worse person that can be running for the republicans. That said, he is still leaps and bounds better for this country at this time than billary or bama man .. too bad many are too stoned to realize that.
