"jack"?    It's not my name and to pay $40k+ for a two-door Charger is hilarious.

Better hope the paper thin oil pan holds up on that "Hemi".    Ford's Dynamometer Lab stopped allowing DCX to rent out a test cell in 2004 because of the cheap 6.1.

I'll dumb it down.  you're confusing "worthwhile" with "worth".

I'm here to help.

The Challenger is a Charger body with 2 less doors, and sheetmetal to fill in some gaps.    If you are trying to tell me that every interview with the Desginers are false, then show me a source that says otherwise.

"Although the Challenger’s two-door sheetmetal is sexier than that of the 300C or Dodge Charger SRT8, the foundations—minus four inches of wheelbase—are essentially identical to those of the sedans."

"For one thing, side-impact standards keep getting tougher all the time, and we had to compensate for losing that beefy Charger B-pillar,” says Heuschele. “But the real answer is that when you chop the wheelbase on a Charger you still have a Charger."   - Eric Heuschele, manager of vehicle development at Chrysler’s Street and Racing Technology (SRT).

Anything else?     Again, I deal in facts.

Well, the real thing threatening the new Challenger is the fact that when it was first birthed, Chrysler was owned by D-B; A car company that was used to selling lower volume, but Higher quality cars. Now, right at the time of the Challengers' release, Chrysler's been sold to Citigroup. And one of the first things' they are doing, is to cut the product line, and number of dealerships, nearly in half. Which I'm guessing here, but the Challenger looks' like it might get the axe, due to things' like sales. It's kinda wait and see, but it won't suprise me to see the Challenger, and some other cars' go. Maybe all of the SRT cars. We just have to wait and see.
