I and some other players noticed some unusual visual effects a few hours ago. Sorry no film.
I was chasing someone and a compatriot flying a P-51 with the right wing missing flies in front of me. The three of us maneuver around, and the half-winged Pony eventually shoots down the enemy. I was amazed, and I mentioned it to the fellow and he said he could see both wings. I pulled up closer again, and he was missing his right wing.
Later on, a fellow teammate, Habu, was returning to the carrier in an F6F that was smoking. He took off again and the F6F was again smoking. Someone told him that his plane was smoking, and he said, "Wow, I just took off and nothing's damaged."
