Thank you Krusty for another useless post. I didn't ask for what needs to be skinned because the game won't work without them. I just wanted some suggestions for skin ideas. So I'm sorry my title was incorrect.

New thread title.

What skin (if you don't have them disabled because we don't need them.) would you like me to do as my next skin. I'm trying to build a complete resume of all aircraft used in WWII & I'm starting with Aces High II. Thank you for your time & I hope you have a splendid day.
What I think Krusty was saying was skin what you enjoy skinning. Otherwise it becomes boring and tedious... like work.

While some might think Krusty sometimes deserves a harsh retort, this was not one of those times.

Regards,

Hammer

I believe his post added nothing to this thread other than pointing out a flaw with my title and pointing out of the obvious.

If you can supply pics to give me a general start, I can do the rest of the research. I'd like to try doing a vehicle skin.

Well, I can't, I don't know what to search for pics wise, but someone on here must...

EDIT: BTW - Where's my Mexican jug?  :D

Almost finished. If you check the Viva Los Jugs thread, you'll see the latest revision. I've just got to blur the stripes on the fuselage & it's ready for submission. Honestly, I didn't want to do it at first, but I think it's the best skin I've done so far, if I don't say so myself  :devil

The one thing I would suggest, in regards to skins.

There are times where it feels like folks are racing to put out skins as fast as they can.  I don't know if that's because they fear that the slots will get filled, or they're just cranking them out off one template.

Note the quality of some skins vs others.  The masters in this forum take their time and get it right.

I'm not one doing skins, I just try and help with the info, so take this for what it's worth.  But as one who pays attention to how the skins look in the air, you can tell the good from the fair to middle of the road crowd real quickly and the skins that get used are the ones that folks have taken the time to get right.

Again, just my 2 cents.

Understood completely. I've actually gone back several times on my Jug skins & fixed stuff. I usually let them sit for a while & come back to it & see if I've missed or messed up anything. I actually went back & re-did my first two because I wasn't happy with them and the way they were constructed. Coffee's Pot has been in the works for almost 2 months now (maybe longer because I don't remember when I started it.)

It IS the best skin you've done, probably the best jug skin of the bunch!
