Jihad has it nailed. IMHO, that planeset he mentions would open up huge possibilities for scenarios.

And the Emily, of course.

Why the G4M "Betty" or the "Emily" either one?

Both would get slaughtered easily in scenarios and arena alike, and therefore never flown. At least the "Peggy" and "Frances" are both somewhat surviveable.

Asking people to fly Betties in Scenarios is like asking people to voluntarily take a kick in the nuts. Its really cruel

A lanc is about a defensible as an Emily. How long does an unescorted or straggler lanc last in a scenario or the MA? Emily's don't fly in fomations... Verm's right.. Emily and the PBY would be small parts about a minute after they get spotted.

Did somebody mention korea?? Who needs a damn jet when yah have THIS??  4 20mm and more air to ground iorn than a B17.

Emily has heavier guns than a Lanc, and that landing on water part can really throw off a vulch
But seriously, with 1.06, there are only what? 2-3 planes left that one cannot argue would be totally outclassed? (leaving out the extreme ends of the group guys,)
Should they stop putting planes in once they have all the " IT came from the late,late Show" versions?
I'm one of the above-mentioned crazies, I lobbied for the bf110 in WB, and flew it when we got it,ditto the P40, put them in here, yeah they have a snowball's chance in hell, so what? not like I'm all that anyway  
With nothing but late war rides abounding, the perk system will be chasing it's own tail in about 2 TOD's IMHO, After all, why chase perk points for a plane that's  only marginally superior to the nonperked?
