Doolittle Raid
« on: March 16, 2008, 09:07:22 PM »
On April 18, I will be re-creating the Doolittle raid. On that day 56 years ago 16 B-25 planes rolled off the carrier Hornet and bomb Japan. I have 4 pilots willing to do this: Homer13, Russian6, Mike254, and Turbo10. So I asking for 12 more pilots willing to do this. The time of the mission will be around 8:00 or 9:00pm EST

To do this mission we will take B-25Cs with 50% fuel, 6 500 lbs bombs, and the glass gun. We will take off from a airbase in which we will head towards a cv and land on the carrier. We will then back-up into position and wait for my command to take off and bomb factories. After the bombing we will crash land somewhere away from the bombing. I will record this and place it on Youtube. Reply if you want to take part in this mission.

THE FIRST PRACTICE MISSION WILL BE ON MARCH 20th IN THE TRAINING ARENA 9:00 EST AND ON MARCH 22TH AT 9:00 EST, Hope to see you there<S>

Uh, as an old h2h host, why not just enable the B25 to lauch FROM the carrier.
All you have to do is break auto pilot, back up a touch (flaps and a TINY bit of throttle) turn it, gun the throttle, and kabam, you're in the air.
Doolittle raid would be one I'd love to do, but the only resistance they encountered was poorly trained, suprised AAA gunners who weren't even at their posts when the raid initially happened, it wasn't until AFTER the bombs were dropped that they started to really get shot at...
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

So... he enables B-25s from the CV by... hacking AH?

lol no
If I'm correct, they give you the 'arena' and the same control as a host back in h2h
So you go to clipboard, options, environment or s/t like that, fields, select the CV you want, enable the b25 and there yah go.
