If people want troop carriers that carry more that ten troops why not make a system that only allows then to drop ten troops every oh say five minutes.

5 minutes would be about a pass for mabey a large buff if you wanted to line up your laser guided ords, but the c-47 is super agile compared to all other bombers besides the single engines, and also 5 mnutes seem a bit long...

SO you can understand what I'm saying.Have a system set up so you can only drop a certain number troops every couple minutes. And presto we can have large armed troop carriers.

I think he means that either

1. Have more troops per C-47 ( one post mentions 26 as the 'normal' allotment ) but only allow 10 to jump at a time, with a 5 minute break between 'salvos'.

2. Have troop transports that are larger than a C-47, but keep the 10 troops out at a time limit.

Still not sure what " presto we can have large armed troop carriers " means.

Caused me to pause for a moment, though.. How about that if the barracks are down at the base, it requires the normal 10 to capture it.. BUT if any of the barracks are up, then it takes.. oh, say 40 or so?  Since the barracks are the supply of troops for a base, it seems logical they would muster to defend the city from infidels by sky or vehicle..
