Ya Bilko then Pink Panther. Thats whats got me about his career. One bomb then he does almost the same type of movie again and gets the same results. Add that too Blue Heaven and all his Parenthood movies. He often seems like he's just collecting a check. His 1980s movies were great. Maybe not box office great. But entertaining.  I don't think he's had a great outting since Roxanne. I still will stop on a Steve Martin movie when channel flipping. SNL great stuff! King Tutt! Had a condo in Arizona! :rock
You obviously have no eye for comedy or a special purpose. My Blue Heaven and Parenthood were great movies. Bilko and Panther not so much, but still funny.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

I believe you should place a woman on a pedestal - high enough so you can look up her dress - Steve Martin

I have this quote memorized since I heard it years ago.

"The Jerk" was his best piece of comedy IMO.

Best line from that movie.......I was born a poor black child. hahahaha
