I was wondering if you are in a bomber say a 234 and you shoot down another plane do you get bomber or fighter perks???

Also does it gain fighter points the same way fighteres do or does it use a different method.

although i have not tried it since the new patch, i used to bomb cv's with the 234 all the time, at low level is were i like it best, 400 feet off the water ,full throttle, i like to come in from the side so as to get all three planes to drop along the waterline! i used to do this alot without losing any planes and only one engine in the lead plane, the last few times i have done so i lost all my birds to good gunners! still what are you gonna do with 10,000 bomber perks anyway? you cant sell them and they wont buy the pizza!
