I rank the whining about Hoe's right up there with the whining about LA's.  The LA is a great plane and what I started in though I have moved on to the Corsair now.  Maybe those who dislike the LA so much should just fly it for a while because I'm thinking that they are having trouble fighting against them for there to be so much complaining about one plane, bst way to beat em is to learn em.

                             I had a funny the other night. I upped an LA-7 to defend a base the other night from a bunch of CV based vulchers. I got HO'd, or attempted HO'd by every kind of CV based airplane we have. At the end I even survived a ramming by a Hellcat. Somehow I survived the Alt/monkeys and got the plane on the runway. When my "4 kills" came out on the comm-scroll someone said on 200, "we dont give WTGs for LAs". I thought that was hilarious, after surviving the CV basedHO'ing, vulching,alt monkey, ram-tard airplanes.

I personaly think it is one of the best planes in the game:
It is fast
It climbs fast
and my favourite think:
It's guns are at the nose which makes it easier to aim

there is only one problem: ammo

any other problems you know of?

If you are having problems with 450 cannon rounds then you need some gunnery practice.  That ammo load is good for at least 7 to 10 kills depending on how well you saddle up.  The only problem I see with the La7 is the fuel load out and short legs.
