WHenever I just get perfect in the right formation there is a small lag, which sends me in front of the lead guy. ITS pissing me off. What should I do???

Lag or a stutter from a resource hicup? Is it when you turn film on or anything like that?
Run a pingplot, free version available at www.pingplotter.com, see if the net is running smoothly?
Turn down textures to see if it's a resource issue.

Might need top 1/3rd of DxDiag also if we delve into this much deeper.

the round trip is around 100. what does that mean

What you look for and do NOT want to see is packet loss and wide variations in that ping time.

100  means it takes 100ms for data to go from your computer to the HTC server.
