are you fat & lazy?
« on: April 11, 2008, 09:53:22 AM »
OK so heres the skinny.....

when playing in MA i noticed that a big majority of players flying in or near horde, guys that i catch infront or behind wave usually, have very little if any SA. this im guessing comes from getting to dependant on 10-50 other players calling/covering 6. their aiming is poor becouse they are used to landing a couple shells on planes still leaving runway. as far as ACM most muster 1 pass if that & run for the safety of numbers.

every one knows what i fly 110c-4b for alot of months now & before that it was the 110G both big targets. i fly alone by choice & have learned to accept that 9/10s of my sorties will end with a gang. i gage my flights on how well i do before getting popped by one of the multibles after me. unless i get real lucky & actually live through the assault. i have always flown against higher numbers. needles to say my SA has become one of the best in the game i would say. deffensive manuvers are what i learned 1st building off of that & well if i start from offensive position lets just say.... most single fighters are doomed. i am finally wining my share of 2-3 vs 1, SA being the biggest part of that.

now im not saying flying in numbers.... ie. squads, missions is a bad thing, there is alot that can be learned including proper winging under the right conditions. most the time its squads inside of the larger mass though which serves no real value of being a sqad...just more hording vulchers.

so are you fat & lazy?  :rofl

so are you fat & lazy?

Yep, but as my dad used to say (about the fat part), it's all bought and paid for.

(Actually I'm ~5'7", 170 lbs... not really all that fat but I am lazy :) ).

Here is a wish for ya Lusche.  I wish people would just Live and Let Die, and stop trying to convert everyone to their particular brand of AH religion.

dastardly. i cant figure out how you fly the 110 like you do. but i enjoy the turn fights. but lately ive been frustrated with all the cherry pickers and guys constantly hoing. you can handle a 2 on 1 fight. but 3 to 5 against one is impossible. lately i cant get a kill in anything but a zero. good luck and watch out for those indestructable spit 8's :D

Hi Dast.
That was a fun fight the other night, until it was intruded upon.  :aok
Like I said man I saw a low 110C in the weeds killing the same spitty over and over again, so thats when i decided to swoop in and buzz by (i thought we were gonna colide for a minute there, it looked like when ya heard my DB.605 you turned but I was pulling up to over fly your canopy)  :D .  If I had a cross country comms with ya I woulda said something like "tag Dast, your it" or somesort of thing to indicate "hey man its me lets scrap it out".  But you kept my hands to buisy flying to type.  :aok  then enter the spitty and well.....
you know the rest...

So yeah to answer you question, i like the smaller engagements like me and a wingman practicing some drag and bag type stuff.  though i sometimes liek to go to the deck and weed eat with the guys.  :aok
