After you've downloaded the file, open up your main Aces High folder.  There's another file inside of it called "offmis".  Go into this, and save the file there.

If you want to paste the text itself, just make a new notepad document, paste the text into it, and then click save.  Where it says "save as type:", instead of "text documents ...", select "All Files".  Then, just go into the "offmis" folder I mentioned above, type in whatever filename you want (BUT ADD ".MIS" to the end of it) and save it there.

When you want to play, open up AH, go to offline mode, and select "Offline Missions" (I think that's it).  Then just select the "battle of britain" (or similar) one, and fly what you want.  It is a bit glitchy, but you'll get the hang of it.

Ok, Ive tried creating my own mission, but Ive run into one or two problems. 1. No matter what  I change, the enemy is still the 51. 2. I seem to only have a limited number of times flying the mission before the airwarp stops working. I tried one based on Yossarians mission. That still works but the airwarp in my mission has ceased functioning. Any ideas?

Only if they never intended to make a mishun editor.  98% GIU code, 1% logic, 1% formatting...call it 4 hours out of Sudz's day to write and another couple hours to test.  Push it out the door and let the community beat it up.  They probably didn't even get started on it before the update, so the release date depends on how much time they need to write patches.  Call it Thursday if everything goes well.

I do wonder if they expected everyone to dive into the config file with this much enthusiasm, though.

Hey Yoss,   :aok  I see that you may have fixed the multiple flights problem with your BOB mission by not only adding the flights within the mission but also fixing this line with the airplanes listed in the flights.

I'll give that one a try...

The Hurricane and Spit missions are screwed. My hurri wouldn't take off. Missin a rudder, and the right aileron is all messed too. Lol, it was funny lookin.

The 109 mission was sweet!!!!!! Got some footage of it, may make a movie outta that.

I think hub explained it best on page 4 of this topic, but basically, if you want to fly "East to West", but your plane info etc in the "east to west" section, and your enemies' in the "west to east" section, and vice versa if you want to fly the "West to East"

kotrenin, I was just messing around with that bit, but haven't really worked anything out.  Have you noticed it making any difference?  I was wondering if those bits were for each flight, but I still don't know what any of the details in that area are for.

OK, here's another one, spit 9's, hurri 2-c's vs 109-g2's and 110-g2's.  I'm having a problem with it now, it worked fine at first from all flights.  Now when I chose any of the spit flights I lose the needles in my gauges and I'm sitting in a spitfire but controlling a hurricane and when I chose any of the hurricane flights I'm in a spitfire controlling a hurricane.  I have the spit missions separate from the hurricane missions and each individual plane has its own flight (same for the 109's and 110's.)  I don't have any problem with the German missions.  :(

How do you make RV-8 missions. I already tried entering their numbers, but that crashes the game. All my other missions that I have made work fine.
