Plasticine Crow
« on: March 20, 2008, 11:56:20 AM »
One of the first plasticine cartoons. 1980 or 81. Bloody Soviet propaganda for little kids. Someone have made English subtitles, translation is quite close to original.

It's a fable about a Crow and a Fox, if you guys know it.

I've seen this, Boroda... However, Gumby predates this by 25 years.

Thank you, Boroda.  I appreciate any of those examples of your culture that you can show us.  Your country is full of mystery to people in the USA.

One thing I remember reading is that during the cold war, there were long lines for food in your country...  I remember that there was a phrase in your culture about the lack of toilet paper, regarding the "fours" or something like that.  It was a reference about taking a page of newspaper and folding it into fours, as a substitute.  Do you remember something like this?

The only time people waited in lines for food were during Blockade and When 'SHit-Head' started his 'glassnast'...just FYI

Wow, with some of the stuff, it looked like they were defying the govt  I was wondering if the crow/cow/dog was taken out back and shot or just disappeared. It looked like they made some Russian dude mad  :rofl :noid :rofl
The music was really really wierd too.

Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.
