It's using the exact same logic, though.

Still haven't discovered the mutual exclusivity between quantitative data and qualitative conclusions, have we?
You haven't found that you need to back up claims with actual data yet? Tsk tsk.

No. Close to if not the best plane in the game.

EDIT: haha, learn2read me, gg
Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams.

I'd LOVE to have an unperked 4-Hog just to hear the whines as people start to realize just WHY she's perked.  :D

Now I DO think you could make a case under the current game for unperking the Charlie. I don't think she'd be nearly the destabilizing force she was in the old days, as she really loses more air-to-air combat ability than I feel is justified by the increased firepower. Especially now that Hog drivers have the semi-monstrous 1A they can roll for free.

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I think you need to learn that fabricating data to support what you want is at best wishful thinking, and at worst what got Enron in trouble. It's like Numerology. You read into it what you want, but it's a fallacy to pin your argument on it.

It's a fallacy to dodge hard data.

Maybe you should print out your own advice, pin it on the wall next to your computer and read it everytime you are about to post something. It could really help. ;)

If you perk all the good planes, then you leave the new players trying to compete in 2nd tier planes with the more experienced pilots that have the perks to fly them.

A double whammy that (IMO) would be very destructive to the game.

(Oh, and the Corsair perk levels are just fine, IMO. )

It's a fallacy to dodge hard data.

I'm not dodging data. I'm telling you it's not the conclusive data you want and hope it to be. There are far far too many variables in all aspects of how the planes are flown and used to pin "QUALITY-OF-PLANE" on "KILLS-TO-DEATH" numbers.

That in itself is a fallacy.

no. i remember back in H2H every F4U u saw was either a Chog or a -4. Chogs would HO u and run, -4s would hit u and run. Not goin thru that again. Not a big fan of -4 anyway. 1D is unperked and carries same ords but is slower.

F4U-4 isn't just faster. Out-accelerates, out-climbs, has significantly more power in the vertical...

Only reason I don't like using her for Jabo is death rates are generally higher, and the perk price is a high price for a short sortie. The Charlie's is much easier to swallow.
