VB-6 Sack Time- Bombing Squadron ***RECRUITING***

VB-6 is recruiting mature pilots novice, or experienced.



We're a formation-based bomber squadron that was started about 2 weeks ago. Gentlemen, we use real tactics, and formations. I'm just hoping some of yall would like to have the same amount of fun I do. I enjoy precision bombing  and will give training if you need it. We currently have 6 Active members and we're looking for an Operations Officer.  All we ask is that you have a subscription and that you fly seriously. Our Squadron Nights are Friday 8:00pm EASTERN, and Tuesday 10:00pm EASTERN (Optional).  Please contact me if interested and we'll set up a time to see your skills for begin training. <S> -Vmf214Nb, CO

I'm with the =4thFG= Debden Boys and we fly historical missions, one of which is buff escorting. I would like to open a dialog on a possible co-op mission with the 4th as "little friends". Our "official" squad nights are Tuesday and Thursday so maybe we could hook up this Tuesday.

Our formal missions start at 10pm eastern. We are usually on earlier to warm up or fly a couple of sorties before our offical start time. What is DHBG?
What type of combat boxes do you fly and at what range? Our biggest problem is buffs not flying box formations and being "strung-out". What is your SOP or web page where I can read more?

Well DHBG, is Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group, my former squadron, I had a lot of buddies on there, so I agreed to escort them on 10:00pm EASTERN. If I have to I will reorganize my plans so we fly with you then. Also I believe your missions are on thursday nights as well? Perhaps that will be even a better time for my squadron then Friday. Please keep in mind we have 6 active members right now, because we lost a good bomber pilot Bingoin, we belive he's leaving aces for good. Now for a website we don't have one yet but for formations we use the Box/Dimond formation, and the V. Escorts will fly 3k above us on our heading at our speed we will give it to you in flight. I really appreciate your offer into escorting us and I look forward into meeting the 4th.

Ok this is 100Stryk, former CO of VB6 Sack Time I renamed my squad email me at rj@burnup.net. Our next squad meet will be at 9:00pm tuesday EASTERN area TBA. Also, please read the squadron recruitment forum for 100th BG. We're a B-17 only squad so keep that in mind. <S>
