involvement in the outing of a CIA agent under cover in any case is tantamount to treason. ..... He has been documented to have worked with Libby on the outing of Plame.
This is not meant to be a high jacking, But Mooray you don't really believe this do you? I have to image there are a dozen threads on this subject. But,  One she was never undercover, Two never out of the country at the time of revealing her name, and Three, never covert. Thus no crime committed.  Libby got what Martha  got, perjury charges. Not Outing charges.
Sorry Carry on.
As to stay on topic, Rove is great on TV and a true master mind of politics, Hell he got cuddlinghunk elected not Once but Twice against far superior intellectual man. And it is that that drives the moonbats crazy.

WASHINGTON - An unclassified summary of outed CIA officer Valerie Plame's employment history at the spy agency, disclosed for the first time today in a court filing by Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, indicates that Plame was "covert" when her name became public in July 2003.

The summary is part of an attachment to Fitzgerald's memorandum to the court supporting his recommendation that I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Cheney's former top aide, spend 2-1/2 to 3 years in prison for obstructing the CIA leak investigation.

The nature of Plame's CIA employment never came up in Libby's perjury and obstruction of justice trial.

He's not so much a nut as a product of Arkansas inbreeding.

Every time I see him I can just imagine him sitting on a shack porch, drooling and pickin a banjo. (Insert Deliverance theme music...)

moray, you just can't let go of it, the Plame case is over, nobody got charged for "outing" a secret agent because she was not a secret agent, libby was charged with forgetting who said what to who and when.

Are those things mutually exclusive?

Have you ever seen the guy talk?  he does not fit the diabolical monster mold.  Comes across as a rather intelligent soft spoken man of some conviction to that which he believes.  Kind of rare these days.

AKWabbit,  James Carville isn't an Arkansan...so he can't be the result of Arkansas "inbreeding."  Carville was born in Georgia, and was raised in Louisiana.  He has Cajun ancestry, and he's an ass.   :D

You can bet your bottom dollar Bush will give a blanket pardon on his last day in office to a Rove, Cheney, Libby and a few other cronies for any crimes committed under the Constitution because they were "trying to be good Americans and fight terrorism".
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
