I dont think the Pe 2 had a level bomb sight either........ it was a dive bomber............. early models even had dive brakes.

The Tu-2 was a level bomber and fairly long range (by VVS standards)...............

Re Russian torpedo bombers.......the Russian navy modified their A 20's to carry upto 2 torps per AC.

Given all this my choice for the next VVS bomber would be the Pe-2.

Russians much preffered their A20's and B25's to the Il4.

Whilst I may be inclined to agree with that statement, I personally wouldn't say that any where near as bluntly 
Would you care to justify that?   

It would be nice to see a wider variety of planes introduced, so I would like to see some new planes which were from countries such as the USSR, Italy etc.  However, I doubt I could stand another update with out some sort of Allied fighter or fighter-bomber, particularly the A-26 or the Beaufighter.
