Okay, now for the logic, With the p39-d-1 being a representation of the early war rides, it would be nice to add the d-2 for a bit more power under the hood for mid war.Right now we have a great representation for early & later war 39's but the gap inbetween is VERY bad. Try flying a d-1 vs. a mid war 109 and you will know what i speak of.
D-1 "41-42"
D-2 "42-43"
Q "43-44"
I know it sounds like i am just begging for more power, well i am.
The D-1 is a pig in mid-late war, the D-2 would stand a much better chance in mid war-late war.
And YES, i know we have only had these plane's for a short while, my point/objective is simply getting HTC to make the change before other planes get reworked or looked at "simply put" To focus on one more plane version (first), instead of back steping and doing it at a later date. put the toping on the cake while its fresh, so to speak..or wait eight months untill it so stale no one will even notice or want to take a bite.
Of course, they could also make us the p39K, i think that has the same setup as the Q, but could also carry rocket tubes.
