quick question. Haven't really payed attention, but will the flap indicator stay "stuck" in the spot that corresponds with where the flap is stuck at. So if I see that it's at the third position, can I automatically know that I just have to drop three notches of flaps to balance things out, or do I have to manually figure out where it's stuck through trial and error?

Thats a very good question and I think it
does not. I remember having my remaining flap
autoretract (hate that BS

) and seeing my indicator move to show the retracted position.
This is just one more reason for wishing the autoretract feature was an option.
Give us a creak when we overspeed by more than 10mph, jam the flap on overspeeding by 20mph and tear the flap off when we overspeed by more than 50mph. Doesn't sound that much harder to incorporate.

Or atleast make it so that if one flap is jammed, other
does not autoretract!
