I don't like or watch Basketball ~ apparently TX got it's ball handed to them on Sunday night by Memphis.
So why am I a new Memphis fan? Jeff Ward, KLBJ, 590AM, and his annoying commentary regarding Memphis/Texas.
I guess he's some sports-guy turned sports-caster. He's absolutely the most annoying voice on the radio. Each time he speaks, you can hear him pause & visualize him snickering about how clever he is, and how funny he thinks his comment was. Then he says his clever comment about 4 more times in the next 4 minutes. Is he assuming that the sports fans he's catering to are total idiots and didn't get it the first few times that he chuckled about it??? Enough already!
They'd be much better off cutting his show down to just one hour ~ then he could say all of his cute little comments just ONCE, and the show might actually be worth a damn. Also, this horribly annoying music in the background ~ word of advice... don't loop the same 3 seconds of annoying music for a 3 minute time period. At least play a full song in the thing... or change it up to where you're at least looping 10 or 15 seconds of music... that may be more tolerable.
Honestly, I don't know how he stays on the air. He must be popular with the men... sports & all.
LOL ~ unbelievable. Just keeps getting better with this guy.
