Giving away my Rock N Ride chair, 2 axis motion simulator.

Giving away my Rock N Ride chair.

It's a 2 axis pneumatic motion simulator which actually works quite well. It has a serial interface for direct control by sims that support it. You can also plug it in-line with your joystick for compatablity with any racing or flight sim.

http://www.combatsim.com/memb123/archive/htm/htm_arc4/rocknr.htm

The chair is in very good-condition, one little tab is broken but can be fixed with just a spot of glue (gets broken every time I move). I will fully guarentee the funtionality of this chair.

Even if you don't want to use it as a motion simulator, the electronics and pneumatics could be used for a varity of wild applications. Some sort of robot actuation, a joystick controlled bucking bronco, some sort of burning man contraption, etc...

I am moving into a small apartment and there is no way I can bring this with me. It's way to big and heavy to ship unless you really want to pay freight on this thing.

I have an air-compressor to drive it as well(if you need it), price negotiable.

Up for grabs to 1st taker, must pick-up in Watsonville (Bay Area), CA.

I'm guessing that AHII won't support it? :(

Not directly, but using the joystick pass-thru works surprisingly well.

I think x-plane and ms flightsim support it.

I'd love to take it, I would even pay shipping for the thing. So long as UPS would still carry it...
