VF-17 det. AH2 "The Jolly Rogers" is actively recruiting for late war MA F4U pilots that are
historically oriented (given a certain amount of suspension of disbelief required in game setting). We will be flying the
F4U1/F4Ua1 (and occasionally the F4U1D - perked F4Us on an individual basis at the player's discretion when flying solo) in the late war arenas (our primaries), mid war arena, AvA (in alternate historical personas when VF-17 cannot be portrayed) and scenarios (when opportunity permits). Being a fan of the original squadron is not a requirement but it's a bonus - during your tour with us we hope to make you one. The squadron is devoted to tactics and strategies that are both historically accurate and effective in the game (as much as both can be accomplished together). Squadron night is currently Saturday and squadron chesspiece may vary depending on the map situation.
