I never recorded it with AH doing the Alt+R thing.  It was just a normal fight with someone in the Main Arena.

Somtimes I wonder if I don't tell people how it's made, that it will make it more like magic, but then if I don't share the info, then others won't share their tricks to film making.  I figure if I can help someone else, then maybe I can enjoy a film by someone else as well.

Edit:
Nevermind, I think Clerick is talking about another film.

2nd edit:
No problem finky, I'm glad I've been able to figure out how to do a 2 pass encoding.  I've tried to do it over the years and it's always been difficult, until recently.  New technologies makes stuff simple sometimes.

Now, if only my next film, whatever it may be, can just be as good...

In the past, I used this to encode and crop files.  It's a very non-user friendly program and it took me awhile to get it to work.  I'm sure there are other programs that are more user friendly to work with.  It's free to download, assuming you have a legitimate copy of WinXP on your machine.  PM me or start a new thread if you need further help.  I'm sure you will have more questions after downloading the program.  I'll help ya out.

I can't quite recall if I used the Media Encoder for the WMV conversion, or if I did it straight through vegas when I did my film.  Either way, one was faster than the other.  I've made game movies for years now have preferred WMV over Divx or Xvid.

Yes, he is talking about the film on the main page of Aces High made by Sanjini. "Luftwaffe Guncams"

I'm afraid he's confusing it with the old AH commercial, the one made by Waffle. Sanjini's movie has no gunners shot in it, it's just guncam shots in black and white. You still can see it clicking on the link on the Main page.

Very nice!

Like I said in the General Discussion forum:

If I have to comment on one thing it must be the use of the old models. Not so important for the Yak, but the cockpit of the Ki kind of ruins the visual aspect of the film. The smoothness and flow of motion, especially with Track IR does much to make up for it though.

Very nice film , and philosophical too.

I feel the message of the film is lost on most.

I believe in the "message" of the film, but I will still take my fair share of "cheap" kills. Cherries, B&Z, the occasional vulch. If the odds are really against me, I will even take some HO shots.

I guess the DGS film has been cancelled due to production costs and the writers strike. :(

The New forum code put a line through the original link, here's the link without the line running through it:
