Just a question, I was thumbing through some WWII gun cam footage from P-51s and F6Fs, and it seems (key word is seems) that the .50 cal rounds had a little more punch than what we have in AH.  I was really just wondering if anyone else feels the .50 cal rounds are underrate.  Or if its just me.

I  tend to agree, but on the other hand I will stand by the age old quote "It is a game."   To be honest, I have a lot more fun when I do not worry about the trivial stuff and just have fun playing a game.

I'd think it's "just you"

Most of the guncam footage we see are from succesfull combats. We don't see the thousands of fights where the enemy was pinged but still got away. I guess they were not spectacular enough for the newsreel
