Turret Out Very Fast

I have noticed that the whirblewind turret can be taken out w/ a m-3 head on with a few hits this has happened to me on 2 different ocasions. Also watched 3 of us loose them approching a town as soon as the ak came up.

I don't see this as a bug.

The Wirbelwind turret is lightly armored with 16mm plate only.

According to http://gva.freeweb.hu/weapons/usa_guns2.html the 37mm gun of the M8 can easily penetrate this:
AP M74 shot: Penetration 36mm at 0° / 457m and still 26mm at 20° / 914m

According to http://www.wwiivehicles.com/usa/guns.asp#37mmM5/6, using APC the penetration alues are even higher.

15mm is a bit over half an inch. The 50cal round can punch through 2 separate plates of 1/4 inch steel armor plating placed 1 meter from each other, with the shot fired from 1000 yards away. I've seen this done with a sniper rifle on a show on TV [discovery channel demonstrated it], but with the same basic round as is in the Browning guns.

I think it's just the thin skin of the turret being shot up, but who knows, I could be wrong.

Armour penetration is a non issue. I have shot a osti's turret out with the M3's pintle gun before the WW was introduced. If you can get a few to deflect into the turret you kill the gunner (tried with minimal up down movement near the turret edge). Of course he then got to his chasis mounted MG and killed my driver...

kamori i do it alot in an M3. you have to aim for the opening in the turret. i dont find this to be a bug bro. i can show you next time we are on at the same time we will go DA and you can spawn an M3 and me in a WW
