Kill Register after rendering plane inoperable
« on: April 09, 2008, 01:46:15 AM »
ok this most certainly is an old topic that i think needs revisiting,,,,

im talking about when youve dessimated an enme aircraft to the point it is unflyable and after watching it spiral down to its imminent doom, said enme "must" have forced server disconnection prior to them either bailing or hitting the deck....

This has happnd to me alot recently when hitting aircraft at high alt,,, i rarely use film when flying so have no way of finding out who the dweeb was,, and i grow tired of this punitive act...

Surely AH could implement some kind of system that would determine that said aircraft was unflyable and if disconnection occurs the kill would still register to the appropriate player,,, ,,,

For yours and others consideration and comment

Thankyou

You know i accidently tried that one night. Was fighting/training with my squad in the DA and when 1 of them got on my 6 and started shredding my plane i pushed power off by accident on my modem (cable). It looked to them and me just like i had discoed but i'm not sure how HT's servers would have scored it. I do know i found a better spot to put my modem box after that. Freaked me out.

<S> for the good fight in the Yak 9T v the 152 tonight, if that was you Wrngway.

I can't say I've ever had that happen to me, Sidey. As far as I know the kill is awareded to the nearest player with the most damage inflicted if a Disco is detected.

Put one bb into them and they disco, you will be awarded the kill. I does take a bit for it to register though.
